Flamingo Nail Art Tutorial

›I want my toes in the sand & a cocktail in my hand ‹  Unkown

Who else is feeling the summer vibes with the hot and sunny weather!? It feels almost like we are in the subtropics and it is only a matter of time when palm trees start growing here in Germany. Until then, here is a nail art tutorial that will bring the palm trees to your nails. This time it might look a little more complicated, but it is surprisingly easy to recreate. We wish you an amazing summer and lots of fun with the tutorial.

Flamingo Nail Art Tutorial

Step 1: Step 1: Apply Base Coat on all your nails.

Step 2: Apply white nail polish on all your nails (e.g. Seshell Seashell) and wait until your nails are dry.

Step 3: Now, with a very thin brush using dark green nail polish (e.g. In the Jungle) paint little palm leaves on each nail.  Start with a fine line and continue with several lines that start on the first one and lead away. See video above for an example. Once again, wait until everything is dry before you follow the next step.

Step 4: Now we will paint the flamingo on the ring finger. First, with a pink nail polish (e.g. Stay Wild) draw the number two. Then fill out the lower part for the body. Trace the upper part of the number once again to give the body more volume and also paint the head (see video above). Afterwards, using a dotter tool, paint a white a dot (e.g Seashell Seashell) on the middle of the head, then use a thin paint brush and build the beak with a black nail polish (e.g. Brave Soul). Add a black dot in the middle of the white dot to finish the eye. Finally, draw white wings on the flamingo as seen in the video above.

Step 5: Use a small brush and nail polish remover to remove any excess nail polish from around your fingers.

Step 6: Once dry, apply our Top Coat on your nails to ensure a long lasting manicure.

We hope you enjoyed todays nail art tutorial and that you give it a try!
