Marine Nail Art Tutorial

›You will get there when you are meant to get there. So relax, breathe & be patient.‹

Do we not all indulge in old vacation memories sometimes? We remember the beautiful holiday feelings, the sand by the sea and trips we had with our friends. In todays nail art tutorial we would like to show you an adorable and playful marine design. We wish you a relaxing and happy summer. Enjoy the video!

Marine Nail Art Tutorial

Step 1: Apply base coat on all your nails.

Step 2: Paint your ring finger with two coats of red nail polish (e.g Hustle) and all the other fingers with white nail polish (e.g Seashell Seashell).

Step 3: Once dry, apply our top coat on your nails. Only move on, once your nails are dry again.

Step 4: Now use a thin paint brush and white nail polish (e.g Seashell Seashell) and draw an anchor on your ring finger as seen in the video above.

Step 5: Use a dotter tool and draw the anchor’s bullet. Afterwards use a smaller dotter tool and draw a little red dot in the middle as seen in the video above (e.g Seashell Seashell and Hustle).

Tipp: In case you do not have a dotter tool you can also use a ball pin and a toothpick.

Step 6: Place four thin tape strips on the top part of your middle finger as seen in the video above. On top of the strips apply a navy nail polish to create stripes (e.g. Think Big). Only paint half of your middle finger blue, as seen in the video above. Use tweezers to gently remove the strips.

Step 7: Repeat step 6 on your ring finger, pinky and thumb, except apply the tape strip on the whole nail and paint the whole finger with a navy blue nail polish to create stripes.

Step 8: Use a small brush and nail polish remover to remove any excess nail polish from around your fingers.

Step 9: Once dry, apply our top coat on your nails.

We hope you enjoyed todays nail art tutorial and that you give it a try!
