Two Easy Minimal Summer Nail Art Tutorials

Summer is a time for fun, adventure and exploring and sometimes a simple painted manicure just doesn’t seem to embrace those summer vibes. In today’s video we are sharing two super easy and minimal nail art tutorials that will brighten up your manicure into something a little more…well FUN. We hope you enjoy!

Two Easy Minimal Summer Nail Art Tutorials

The following two nail art tutorials we created with minimal equipment. We also used the same colours for both but feel free to choose any colours you like! Make sure to watch the video above to see how it’s all done!

What you need:
- A dotter tool (or try the tip of an old pen)
- A thin brush
- 3 Nail Polish Colours. We used the following vegan nail polish colours:
  - Midsummer Magic – Crimson Red
  - A Love Letter – Baby Pink
  - Up All Night – Metallic Aubergine

SUMMER NAIL ART TUTORIAL #1 – “A CHERRY ON TOP”

Step 1: Start by applying a Base Coat

Step 2: Apply two coats of a pink or crimson red nail polish (e.g. Midsummer Magic) on all your nails except the ring finger. Then apply two-three coats of a baby pink nail polish (e.g. A Love Letter) on your ring finger.

Step 3: Once dry, use a dotter tool to paint two spots with a pink or crimson red nail polish (e.g. Midsummer Magic).

Step 4: Using a thin brush and a brown or aubergine nail polish (e.g. Up All Night) paint small “stems” from the dots to mimic cherry stems. See video above for reference.
